Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Operating Room Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Monroe, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. This is a per diem, day opportunity that offers NO nights, holidays, weekend or call requirements.
Responsibilities
Establish a therapeutic relationship and individualized plan of care with patients during the peri-operative period
Communicate the plan of care effectively to collaborative partners
Plan, deliver, coordinate, evaluate, and modify patient care as needed
Transition patient care plans with attention to continuity across shifts and settings
Assure effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
*Registered Nurse licensure in New Jersey (required)
*Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
*Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (required)
*Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (required)
*Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification (preferred)
Credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN
Greater than 15 months professional nursing experience, or equivalent experience with Associate's Degree and greater than 5 years clinical experience
One year Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, PACU, or O.R experience (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits
