About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at North Star Behavioral Health Hospital. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing psychotherapeutic services to children and adolescents in our acute care program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data regarding patients' psychosocial history and current environment.
  • Develop and review Master Treatment Plans, ensuring comprehensive and timely completion.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring interventions are directly related to treatment plan goals.
  • Establish rapport with families and engage them in family treatment, making weekly contact to discuss progress.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Schedule and Shift

This part-time opportunity is available on weekends, with a schedule of Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Sunday. The shift is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications
  • Clinical Expertise: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Alaska LCSW or LPC licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.
  • Therapeutic Skills: Proficiency in providing psychotherapeutic services.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
