Dishwasher Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized dish tank area, ensuring that cleaned dishes are available for service.
  • Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils.
  • Remove cardboard and grease, and maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of property around the restaurant, including the foyer, front porch, and sidewalk.
  • Empty trash from designated areas throughout the shift.
  • Work with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction regarding dining room cleanliness.
  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as well.
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period.
  • Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets.
