Job Summary

Oversee assigned game site location to ensure timely and smooth operations. Communicates with officials and other vendors and enforces program and facility rules. Maintains a safe environment for athletes and spectators, as well as follows all safety procedures and fosters a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Game Day Operations: Oversee site hosting league games on game days.
  • Spectator Conduct: Monitor spectator conduct at youth sport events.
  • Facility Rules: Enforces facility rules and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate any concerns or incidents with program supervisors.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, organized and orderly environment, as well as all playing surfaces.
  • Official Support: Help officials sign-in/report attendance.
  • Sports Knowledge: Be familiar with a variety of sports, including, but not limited to soccer, basketball, baseball, and volleyball.
  • Rule Awareness: Keep updated on league and organization specific rules and regulations, and be prepared to reference them.
  • First Aid: Administer ice-packs or basic first aid kit supplies, as needed.
  • Facility Setup: Set up and take down facilities per sport.
  • Critical Situations: Ability to respond to critical situations and act swiftly in an emergency.
  • Behavior Guidance: Use positive strategies to guide program participants and spectators behavior.
  • Safety Monitoring: Monitor all aspects of the program site as related to safety.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory and concerns to program supervisors.
  • Communication with Families: Responsible for communicating to families verbally and helping provide direction.
  • Welcoming Environment: Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming, compassionate climate.
  • Site Inspection: Inspect the site and be aware of and report all broken equipment and unsafe situations.
  • Confidentiality: Maintains confidential environment at all times.
  • Training and Meetings: Required to attend all mandatory trainings and meetings.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push or lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Work Environment: Perform duties indoors and outdoors.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.
