Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer to support our team in the Western Region. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will work closely with project managers to ensure the successful execution of technical services on our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage submittals and change requests
  • Oversee document control and quality assurance processes
  • Coordinate field quality control activities
  • Assist with invoicing and billing processes
  • Collaborate in developing scopes of work and contracts
  • Support schedule updates and tracking
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms, plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards
  • Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors
  • Work effectively as a team player with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate clearly and motivate workers, subcontractors, and all parties on site
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field of study
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in water treatment or heavy civil construction
  • Familiarity with construction process, including reading and understanding plans and specifications
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of CM software, such as Procore, Primavera P6, and MS Project
  • Professional skills: problem solver, self-starter, attention to detail, punctuality
