Job Summary

The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. This role will drive our data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Solves complex application errors, designs, and resolves application problems, following up promptly with all appropriate customers and IT personnel.
- Validates QA test plans and supports QA team during test execution.
- Designs and develops data transformations and data pipelines.
- Ensures and signs off on change control and change management procedures are followed within the program/project as they relate to requirements.
- Designs and develops BI datasets for reports and dashboards to support decision-making within business and IT.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Technical field and Master's Degree in Technology and/or Business related field; equivalent trainings/certifications/experience equivalency will be considered.
- 8 or more years of equivalent experience in relevant job or field of technology.
- 2 or more years of equivalent experience in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams directly or indirectly.
- 2 or more years experience directly responsible for guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills.
