Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at National Retail Systems. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering freight to dedicated accounts in a timely and safe manner.

• Deliver freight to dedicated accounts on time and in good condition.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with dispatchers and managers as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients and represent National Retail Systems in a professional manner.
• Meet all safety and regulatory requirements, including maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company safety policies.

• Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.
• 1 year of experience driving a Class A vehicle or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Extended periods of sitting and driving.
• Manual dexterity to operate vehicle controls and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry cargo up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous focus on driving and navigation, requiring high levels of concentration and situational awareness.
