Per Diem Anesthesia Physician Opportunity in Maine

This position is for a Per Diem Anesthesia Physician who will be working in a busy hospital setting in Maine. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
About the Job:
The per diem anesthesia physician will be responsible for providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing various types of surgery, including general surgeries, orthopedic procedures and OB/GYN operations. The successful candidate will have experience with medical supervision models and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies
- Maintain accurate records and follow hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Active Maine medical license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Monday to Friday schedule with occasional nights and weekends
- Medical supervision model with two anesthesiologists supervising
- Case mix: 50% general surgeries, 25% orthopedics, 10% OB/GYN and 15% other surgeries
