Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorder services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals, with a focus on improving speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including speech, language, and communication therapy, as well as swallowing disorder treatment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, and educators, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical work.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
  • Licensure: State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience: Previous clinical experience, particularly in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with speech and language challenges.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
