About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional software engineering manager to lead our UI Compositing team in the design and implementation of critical rendering technologies for Apple devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of highly skilled engineers in delivering high-quality products
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve team goals
  • Mentor and guide engineers to enhance their skills and expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering management and project leadership
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Prior experience in leading large cross-functional projects
  • Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • A proven track record in strategic leadership and decision-making
  • A genuine passion for 2D and 3D graphics
  • Experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, Metal, or other GPU programming APIs
  • Experience with software performance analysis, optimizations, and low-level systems programming
What We Offer

At Apple, we offer a competitive salary range of $190,700 - $329,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Our total compensation package includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses. You will also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.
