Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the condition of damaged properties and structures, identifying areas that require restoration or repair.">
  • Collaborate with restoration specialists and project managers to develop comprehensive restoration plans, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to achieve successful outcomes.">

Carpentry Work:

  2. Repair and replace damaged wooden structures, such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, using a variety of tools including saws, drills, chisels, and sanders.">
  3. Install new wooden components to match existing structures, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.">

Framing and Structural Repair:

  2. Rebuild damaged or weakened structural elements, including load-bearing beams and columns, to ensure the integrity and stability of buildings.">
  3. Ensure proper alignment and support to maintain structural integrity, preventing potential hazards and costly repairs.">

Finishing Work:

  2. Install trim, molding, and baseboards to match the original design, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and value of restored properties.">
  3. Apply finishes such as staining, varnishing, and painting to achieve a consistent appearance, restoring the beauty and charm of historic buildings.">

Window and Door Restoration:

  2. Repair or replace damaged window frames, sashes, and casings, restoring their original functionality and beauty.">

Custom Woodwork:

Benefits and Requirements:

We offer a competitive salary range of $30-35 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have proven construction/restoration project management experience, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Self-motivation, responsibility, and accountability are essential qualities for this role, as is the ability to handle multiple assignments at once with close attention to detail.
