Physician for Independent Medical Assessments in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician for Independent Medical Assessments to join our team at MRG Exams. As a PM&R physician, you will conduct thorough and objective medical assessments for U.S. veterans, supporting the VA's disability evaluation process.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze comprehensive medical records through a secure web portal to identify key health conditions and relevant documentation.
- Conduct detailed, non-treating evaluations of veterans to document current health status and provide accurate findings.
- Complete and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-specific templates, capturing all relevant medical information.
- Evaluate up to four veterans daily, ensuring timely and accurate assessments.

Requirements- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
