Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant III will provide clerical, administrative, and technical support to the management and instructors of Workforce and Community Development. This role will assist with scheduling external rentals for the college's facilities, processing registrations and payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to directors in the WCD department, including scheduling classes, reserving locations, and preparing instructor contracts.
  • Collect and process facility usage applications, and upload requests in the college's scheduling software, 25Live.
  • Communicate with clients regarding facility availability, rental policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit invoices for external rentals.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of the WCD digital newsletter.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum 2 years of customer service, administrative, secretarial, or clerical experience is required.
  • 2 years of computer use or database manipulation is preferred.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of clientele.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to change.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to maneuver around campus frequently and occasionally lift boxes or equipment up to 25 pounds. The ability to sit for long periods is also required.
