SAP Applications Administrator Job Description

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Applications Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for supporting systems activities and projects across assigned applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance application programs with a focus on SAP FI, In-House Cash, Coupa, Concur, and Vertex.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Tax (TAFT) groups, assisting with problem-solving and training development.
  • Maintain, configure, and update the system, integrating with other applications, and administering the change control process.
  • Provide functional support, implement new functionality, and ensure product utilization, application standards, and support best practices.
  • Serve as a business process expert, supporting all aspects of the financial systems.
Requirements:
  • Process-oriented and analytical thinking, with a focus on quality and logical approaches to business solutions.
  • SAP S4 Hana configuration experience and testing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills, with a strong focus on customer interaction and presentation.
  • Experience working with end users, translating business problems into system requirements.
  • Lead/coordinate project planning sessions, analyzing business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure applications meet specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration, integration, training, testing, and implementation, with working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and data validation, with attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
