Job Description

We are seeking a Client Support Associate to join our team at All Points North. This role is responsible for providing support to clients in a comprehensive behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinicians, nursing staff, and other patient caregivers to ensure delivery of quality care and coordination of services.
  • Work closely with clinical and hospitality leadership to coordinate systems related to measuring attendance, reporting program outcomes, milieu activities, and client satisfaction.
  • Complete and distribute the daily census and coordinate ongoing improvement of the census and related projects.
  • Produce timely and accurate information to communicate with other department heads regarding guest and departmental needs.
  • Review and aggregate patient outcome and satisfaction data.
  • Ensure all electronic health records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Use computer software to admit and discharge patients, coordinate follow-up appointments, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
  • Work to create efficient systems and workflows within the clinic.
  • Engage in ongoing tasks to develop policies and enhance processes and procedures, including ongoing performance improvement for clinical tasks.
  • Collaborate extensively between departments to coordinate the completion of assigned performance improvement tasks.
  • Work closely with leadership on specialty projects as assigned.
  • Client and Milieu Management:
  • Create strong relationships and interactions to build a culture of safety and serve as a positive role model and mentor for clients.
  • Promote client adherence to the daily programming schedule and encourage client participation in all activities.
  • Verbally redirect clients to follow program expectations.
  • Enforce adherence to safety protocols and ensure compliance with program rules.
  • Intervene in client crisis situations and work with the treatment team to promote conflict resolution, de-escalation, and emotion regulation.
  • Use positive reinforcement, non-judgmental attitude, listening skills, gentle redirection, and other tools to manage client behaviors in a positive and supportive way to create a safe environment.
  • Work with the treatment team to intervene with clients seeking to leave treatment early in order to support and redirect AMA situations.

Requirements:

  • Able to stand for 8+ hours.
  • Able to squat, bend, kneel, and lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to work with all departments at All Points North.
  • Extensive knowledge of KIPU EMR.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Capable of making good decisions.
  • Ability to handle pressure well.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty.

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma / GED.
  • Preferred: Associates in Social or Human Services.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working in clinical or hospitality settings with direct guest/client care, experience in clinical documentation systems.

Special Skills & Knowledge:

  • Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: must be able to work and communicate well with people; be adaptable and accept changes quickly and easily; be willing to address conflict appropriately.

Physical Requirements:

  • Routine mobility includes standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking, and running.
  • Regularly required to sit and work at a phone/computer workstation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Materials & Equipment:

  • Office equipment, computer, copy machine, iPad, and company computer programs.

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of medical and clinical terminology.
  • Excellent organizational skills in order to ensure all patient needs are being met.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals each day.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate references.
  • Appropriate interpersonal/personal boundaries.
  • Maturity of judgment and behavior.
  • Ability to remain flexible to accommodate changes in work schedule.

  • $16.00-$20.00/hour
