Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Operations Supervisor to oversee the receiving, unpacking, and organization of new stock at Five Below. This role is crucial in ensuring items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, guaranteeing accurate signage and proper promotion highlighting in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Take charge of the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is ready for a seamless daily operation.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues.
  • Support the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures to enhance their performance.
  • Drive store sales and manage expenses: Identify opportunities to boost sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; college experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask is necessary.
  • Creative thinking is beneficial.
  • Maintaining composure under pressure is vital.
Working Conditions
  • Frequent use of a cash register is expected.
  • Frequent movement of merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and placing/removing merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet is required.
  • Frequent ladder ascension/descent to retrieve and put away stock is necessary.
  • Frequent positioning to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor is expected.
  • Frequent communication and exchange of information with customers via phone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers, is required.
  • Frequent movement across the sales floor assisting customers and to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise is necessary.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, which may include day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel (as required).
Salary and Benefits

This position comes with an estimated hourly salary range of $20.90 to $22.40, dependent on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, educational background, and geographic location. Additional benefits, bonus, and incentive payments may be included in the total compensation package.
