Your Role

As Lead Roofer - Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required for the job. You will also oversee and participate in all types of roof installations, repairs, and maintenance. Additionally, you will assign duties and tasks to crew members, monitor their performance, conduct safety meetings, ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards, and manage resource availability and allocation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required for the job
  • Overseeing and participating in all types of roof installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Assigning duties and tasks to crew members and monitoring their performance
  • Conducting safety meetings and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and standards
  • Managing resource availability and allocation, including overall staffing needs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Determine material placement and onsite needs for projects
