Job Summary

The State Administrative Manager 15 is responsible for directing the work of professional staff assigned to the Community Options Support and Services Section. This position requires strong leadership and management skills to meet assigned program and agency requirements, federal and state laws and mandates, rules and regulations for programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the work of professional staff to meet program and agency requirements
  • Guide, direct, and oversee the work of the Section and its contracted vendors and grantees
  • Maintain and monitor programs and compliance with policy, and state and federal reporting requirements
  • Provide technical assistance to the ACS division director and grantee agencies
  • Assist the division director and bureau director with planning and management of division work, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level
  • Experience in safety and regulatory or law enforcement may be substituted for education and experience requirements

Work Environment:

The physical location of this position is 400 S. Pine St. Lansing, MI. Remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests may be considered. Employees will be provided computers to perform state work.
