Job Summary:
Texas Orthopedic Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse RN PACU PRN to provide high-quality care in our state-of-the-art facility. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and effective care of perioperative patients.

About the Role:
This role is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who can effectively manage patient care in the immediate post-anesthesia period. You will possess comprehensive knowledge of clinical components of care required in the PACU and maintain communication with anesthesia staff to ensure prompt resolution of any problems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage patient flow in the PACU, ensuring efficient transfer to patient care units.
* Provide direct supervision of other personnel assigned to the PACU, delegating responsibilities as needed.
* Participate in rotational call systems to ensure continuous availability of patient services.
* Maintain patient safety through surveillance of all practices in the PACU.
* Collaborate with the Director of Surgical Support Services to address opportunities for improving services in the PACU.

Requirements:
* Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
* 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting required.
* Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License required. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS also required.
