The Disaster Resource Group is seeking a skilled Project Support Lead to oversee the management of various-sized projects. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership, oversight, and project management functions to ensure successful project execution.

About the Role:

This role requires a dedicated professional who can communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Sponsors, and Department of Energy (DOE) Customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Project Definition and Scope:">
    • Support in defining project scope, methods, schedules, and cost baselines">
    ">
  • Project Coordination:">
    • Co-manage design and construction projects from conception to turnover">
    • Identify and work with engineering and project controls teams for successful project completion">
    ">
  • Project Implementation:">
    • Assist in leading projects through multiple stage gates">
    • Support long-range project planning and development">
    • Develop project budgeting, cost controls, and scheduling strategies">
    • Ensure operational support and develop deliverables throughout the project lifecycle">
    ">
  • Collaboration and Communication:">
    • Proactively participate in processes and make recommendations for system refinements">
    • Lead Planning Sessions as documentation lead and/or workstream lead">
    • Provide clear direction on project requirements to meet customer expectations">
    • Interact with all levels of management through program and/or project updates and reviews">
    ">
  • Risk Management:">
    • Co-lead risk management approaches and systems">
    • Makes decisions regarding risk when there is substantial project impact">
    ">

Requirements:

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Masters Degree Preferred)">
  • 3-5 Years of experience in project management or equivalent education and similar work experience">
  • PM Certification">
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Primavera">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills">
  • Adaptability and initiative to manage and prioritize work related to project execution">
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment requiring high customer service, confidentiality, and ethical behavior">

Compensation and Benefits:

">

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
