About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NEPA Practitioner to support our clean energy projects in the Pacific Northwest Hydrogen Hub (PNWH2).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and contribute to NEPA processes for clean energy projects in the PNWH2.
  • Assist or coordinate the preparation of all levels of DOE NEPA documents and technical studies.
  • Provide quality assurance/quality control of NEPA and planning documents prepared by in-house staff or outside consultants.
  • Coordinate with resource and environmental permitting agencies, local stakeholders, and members of the public.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Sciences or a related field, Master's degree is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of experience with a demonstrated working knowledge of NEPA, including coordination of supporting technical studies and schedule management.
  • Similar environmental consultation experience related to federal facility projects with DOE (including projects with federal funding) preferred.
  • Aptitude for maintaining a professional attitude and attention to detail while working alone, within a team environment, and/or on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent technical writing, computer, and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational, task and time management skills and deductive reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite of software, and familiarity with schedule management software.
