About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager Data Scientist and contribute to shaping the future of data-driven decision making. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver products customers love, leveraging a broad stack of technologies including Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more. You will build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design to implementation, and flex your interpersonal skills to translate complex work into tangible business goals.

  • You are statistically-minded, having built models, validated them, and backtested them, interpreting confusion matrices or ROC curves, and experienced in clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning.
  • You are a data guru, not intimidated by big data, skilled in retrieving, combining, and analyzing data from various sources and structures, understanding that understanding the data is often the key to great data science.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree plus 5 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD plus 2 years of experience in data analytics, with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.
  • At least 3 years' experience in open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.
  • At least 3 years' experience with machine learning.
  • At least 3 years' experience with relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) plus 4 years of experience in data analytics.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with AWS.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing people.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis.
  • At least 5 years' experience with machine learning.

What We Offer

Candidates hired for this role will be eligible for a minimum annual salary of $234,700 - $267,900, depending on location. This role also offers performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
