Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at GPAC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as excellent diagnostic skills.

About the Job:

• This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, and other heavy machinery.
• They will also be expected to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Document all work performed, including time spent and materials used.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
