We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. This is a full-time position, working 3rd shift with opportunities to assist in x-ray when not actively performing CT exams.

As a Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of patients of all ages using the CT scanner and associated equipment. You will work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to strict quality parameters set by the department. Your tasks will include preparing, administering, and documenting activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.

You will educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed and safety within the CT department, while maintaining CPR certification, Ohio licensure, and ARRT registration. Participation in hospital-wide mandatory education is also expected.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic technology principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth continuum of care for individual patients. Working closely with radiology staff and other departments, you will contribute to providing a positive learning experience for student technologists on clinical rotations.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a HSD/GED and an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences. Certification/Licensure requirements include a Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, and Advanced registry with ARRT in Computed Tomography (preferably). CPR certification is also required.
