Job Title: Assistant General Manager

About the Role:

As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our center, working closely with our General Manager to ensure seamless execution of our business strategies. You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run daily operations of the center in the General Manager's absence
  • Make informed decisions to allocate time and resources effectively
  • Manage and assign team members to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Leadership experience in any form
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts
Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
