Senior Construction Manager Opportunity in Canton & Newton, MA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. They will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections, reviewing construction plans and specifications, identifying potential risks, and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them.

This is a long-term contract opportunity through the end of 2025, with an estimated salary range of $60-$90 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections and review construction plans and specifications
  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical and/or civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics
