Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume a supportive role and collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Promote optimal health, wellbeing, and safety of patients in accordance with patient care standards and guidelines.
  • Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized healthcare provider in accordance with our Health Physician Group Scope of Practice.
  • Assist with front office duties, scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments, and accurate chart documentation and medical record maintenance.
  • Attend in-service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional growth.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association, required.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D., required.
