Dialysis Care Specialist

GTT, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Care Specialist to join our team in Killeen, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Administer dialysis treatments to ensure patient comfort and well-being
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition to identify potential health issues
- Educate patients on dialysis procedures and self-care techniques to promote independence
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Technical Skills:
- Operate dialysis machines and equipment with precision and accuracy
- Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous care
- Accurately document patient information to facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that fosters open communication and mutual respect
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of dialysis experience preferred
- Certification as a Patient Care Technician (or eligible)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
