Warehouse Associate Opportunity at KARM Stores

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at KARM Stores. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:

This role involves running balers, sorting and packing goods, and performing various tasks related to inventory management. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently and effectively, meeting our high standards for quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Run balers safely and efficiently to produce high-quality baled textiles.
  2. Sort and pack goods into gaylords, carts, boxes, or bags as needed.
  3. Perform cross-training in various areas to ensure that all jobs in the wholesale department are fulfilled.
  4. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under stress and time constraints.
  • Mechanical aptitude and physical stamina required for lifting, bending, stretching, walking, stair climbing, and standing.
  • Adaptability and ability to multitask or shift focus quickly.

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing up to 100% of the standard workday, walking up to 75%, and using hands to perform required duties up to 100%. Lifting and bending may be required up to 75% of the standard workday.
