Job Summary:

As a skilled Registered Nurse on our Med Surg team at Condell Medical Center, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring that patient needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current IL RN license.
- BSN preferred.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing needs.
- Willingness to take call and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
