Job Title: Leasing Manager

Job Summary:
A Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing functions of a multifamily property. This includes training and directing the leasing staff, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance
Explain lease information to residents and applicants
Enter data into tracking systems to monitor leasing activities
Walk apartment units prior to showing and occupancy
Review leasing paperwork and audit lease files
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly leasing reports
Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic
Ensure online advertising is reviewed and updated daily
Train and develop leasing personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures
Prepare marketing plans, leasing strategies, and advertising proposals
Maintain professional communication with residents, applicants, and other representatives
Report property issues, leasing objections, and potential liabilities to the Property Manager

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of related experience
1+ years of management experience
Valid real estate license (if required by state regulations)
Effective communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery. The employee must be able to demonstrate the ability to exert up to 20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
