We are a family-owned company established over twenty years ago, specializing in providing all-inclusive, independent, resort-style 55-and-over senior living retirement communities across the nation. Our Home Office is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska, and we are rapidly growing and expanding.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at one of our resorts. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional food service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare and serve dynamic entrees under the mentorship of our talented Executive Chef.
  • Present high-quality food that is appetizing and personalized to residents' preferences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in challenging situations.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry.
  • Experience working in a team environment, ideally in a culinary setting.
  • Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare, and present food.
  • Familiarity with food sanitation guidelines and operation of kitchen equipment.

Salary and Schedule

The estimated salary range for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work lunch and dinner shifts Thursday through Monday, with evening meals ending at 6:30 pm.
