Rehabilitation Therapist

At BAYADA Home Health Care, we're seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals who deliver high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.

As a Rehabilitation Therapist with BAYADA Home Health Care, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients achieve optimal levels of function, mobility, and independence.

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes, taking into account patients' medical history, physical abilities, and personal preferences.
• Home Environment Assessment: Evaluate the home environment for hazards or barriers to independent living, identifying areas for improvement and recommending necessary modifications.

You'll also have the opportunity to educate and instruct patients, family members, or other representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.

• Licensure: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in Pennsylvania is required.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an OT or PT is preferred, but not required.
• Education: Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA is required.
• Skill Set: Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Solid computer skills, particularly with electronic medical records (EMR), are also preferred.
