Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Humana. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, configuring, and maintaining complex systems software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex systems software solutions using a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and programming concepts and techniques.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems software issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems software solutions with other components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve systems software solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems software solutions.
  • Proven expertise in systems software engineering, including operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software development tools.
  • Experience with cloud and on-prem system engineering, including full-cycle automation.
  • Strong understanding of database platforms, including RDBMS and NOSQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Infrastructure industry-related certification, such as CompTIA or Cisco.
  • Experience with performance engineering, analytic modeling, and forecasting.
