The Johns Hopkins Hospital Plastics, Head & Neck, GI & Surgical Oncology Unit (Weinberg 4 C/D) is a 36-bed acute care unit for adult surgical patients. Our team provides care and services for plastics, reconstruction after breast cancer surgery, gastrointestinal surgery for pancreatic or liver cancer, otolaryngology/head and neck, and variety of other general surgery patients.

As a Registered Nurse 2 – Surgical Oncology Unit (Weinberg 4 C/D), you will have the opportunity to work with an amazing team, join unit-based committees, precept new grad nurses, and attend in-service training and continuing education programs. Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required.
  • BSN/MSN matriculation required within one year of hire and completion of degree within five years of hire.
  • Applicants with an Associate's degree - JHH provides Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your BSN/MSN.
  • Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Must have Acute Care hospital nursing experience.
  • The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse and is proficient in Registered Nurse 1 competencies.
