OhioHealth is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our Medical Weight Management team at McConnell Heart Health Center in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing psychological support to patients undergoing metabolic and bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for preoperative patients
  • Provide individual counseling and support groups for postoperative patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in medical weight management psychoeducation groups
Requirements:
  • PhD in Psychology or Counseling
  • License to practice psychology in the state of Ohio
  • Strong knowledge of clinical counseling issues, psychological assessment skills, and psychiatric needs
