Construction Laborer

Job Summary:

As a Construction Craft Laborer - Apprentice at PCL Solar Constructors, Inc., you will play a vital role in the installation of solar panels and other renewable energy systems. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and compactors.

Assist in the preparation of worksites, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding.

Work with the installation team to assemble and install solar panels, racking systems, and other components according to project specifications.

Assist electricians in routing and securing wiring for solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.

Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.

Requirements:

Must be willing to attend and successfully complete continued training applicable to the job as deemed necessary by PCL.

Must have valid driver's license or other government-issued identification.

Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by PCL.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work a 10-hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside weather conditions.

Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.).

Must be able to work while wearing a respirator and other personal protective equipment, when required.
