Join Our Team as a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Building Connections Behavioral Health. As a School-Based RBT, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals in a school setting, helping them gain skills to be their most independent and fulfilled selves.

About the Role

As a School-Based RBT, you will:

  • Provide behavioral therapy to individuals in a school setting, using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Accurately record data for each program, ensuring accurate tracking of progress.
  • Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Engage in and ensure client safety, providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to thrive.
  • Quickly and accurately communicate problems/concerns with appropriate staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.
  • Report updates and progress to the supervisor on the case, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Reliable private transportation that is insured (car, motorcycle).
  • A doctor's release to work, as well as proof of receiving the following vaccinations: Covid-19 (two-dose, with a booster when applicable), MMR, Hep. B, Varicella, and TDAP.
  • A negative TB test within the last 2 years.
