About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology Clinic team at Dartmouth Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients.
- Practice critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or elevate to the care team as necessary.
- Advocate for patients, uphold their autonomy in decision-making, ensure informed consent, and assist patients and families in expressing self-determination.
- Engage in the governance of practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Assume authority and accountability for the nursing care of patients, delegating elements of care to other members of the care delivery team as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience or Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
