Job Title: Junior AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of AWS resources, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPCs.
  • Cost Optimization & Rightsizing: Collaborate with senior engineers to monitor and analyze cloud costs, identify opportunities for rightsizing resources, and implement strategies to minimize expenses without compromising performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security best practices and maintain AWS security configurations, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.
  • Documentation & Automation: Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps. Work on automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or scripting languages like Python.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1+ years of experience working with AWS or cloud technologies.
  • Key Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of core AWS services and concepts (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Tagging, Scripting). Proficiency in automation tools and languages (e.g., Python, Terraform, CloudFormation). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Professional Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is highly desirable.
