Job Title: Stroke Coordinator RN

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stroke Coordinator RN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in facilitating and coordinating the Stroke Certification process, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review protocols for Stroke Certification
  • Collaborate with Emergency Department, ED Director, EMS, and hospital department directors to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to staff on Stroke Certification and evidence-based medicine
  • Conduct performance improvement and community outreach initiatives to enhance Stroke care
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance Stroke care
  • Represent the Stroke program in various hospital and community committees
Requirements:
  • 5 years' clinical experience, including telemetry
  • Familiarity with Neuroscience patient population and Stroke evidence-based medicine
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed
  • Proficiency in software and computer programs, including Cerner, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
  • Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing, academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR
