Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Law Enforcement Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an administrative assistant, you will provide critical support to our law enforcement officers, handling tasks such as report preparation, data entry, and record management.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports, memos, and other written materials for law enforcement officers
  • Enter data into the agency-wide personnel/payroll system, including payroll, purchase requisitions, invoices, and position requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both physical and electronic
  • Act as liaison between supervisor, other departments, and outside agencies, gathering and relaying information as needed
Requirements
  • Must be a current BSO employee or have equivalent experience and qualifications
  • One (1) year previous experience and/or training in administrative support functions, with extensive experience using computer software programs for maintenance of files and documents
  • Possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license throughout employment without any restrictions which affect job performance

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
