About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. As an Intensive Care Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with precision and compassion. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient psychological and physical needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions
  • Foster quality of care by prioritizing patient safety, dignity, and well-being
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with industry advancements

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification is essential
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN degree is preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience in an acute care setting is desired

Physical Demands:

This role requires sustained periods of sitting or standing, occasional lifting and transporting objects, and ability to operate computer equipment effectively.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus additional benefits packages that include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
