Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Chartwells Higher Education - Richardson. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning to ensure dishes meet quality standards.
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy and follow HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with HACCP guidelines and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $15.50-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
