Senior Cybersecurity Role

We are seeking a seasoned Information System Security Officer to join our team in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area.

About the Company:

Coalfire Federal is a market-leading cybersecurity consultancy firm providing independent and tailored advice, assessments, technical testing, and cyber engineering services to Federal agency customers.

About the Role:

  1. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed knowledge and expertise required to manage the security aspects of assigned information systems.
  2. You will ensure that the appropriate operational cybersecurity posture is maintained for assigned systems to provide confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct systems security assessments, prepare system security documentation, and perform security upgrades for live networks, desktop systems, servers, and enterprise databases.
  • Participate in planning and management of all phases of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) process.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in an IT-related field.
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on work experience with ISSO duties.

Compensation:

We offer a salary range of $150,000 - $220,000 per year, based on experience.
