Overview

RPMGlobal is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our College of Technology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories.

Salary

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 per year.

Job Description

The Laboratory Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all MAC and PC equipment, printers, scanners, projectors, and other peripherals. This includes installation, upgrading of hardware and software, networking support, consumables replenishment, inventory control, and troubleshooting as needed.

The successful candidate will also coordinate with the IT Department for hardware and software updates and maintenance. Additionally, they will assist the IT Department with lab reimaging before each block, maintain studios, manage inventory control functions, and assist with computer lab use, software, and hiring processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Related coursework or specialized training beyond the high school level relevant to the College of Technology
  • At least one year of experience
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations
  • Self-directed and able to make decisions independently
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees

Working Hours and Flexibility

You will typically work Monday through Sunday as scheduled, but must be flexible to meet the needs of the University and College.
