Job Summary

We are seeking an Academic Urologist to join our team at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and allied health professionals in the practice and teaching of urology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and allied health professionals in urology
  • Conduct research and scholarly activity to enhance the academic environment of the Division
  • Participate in continuing education programs in urology for both clinical faculty and practicing physicians
  • Provide a role model for students and residents as a teacher and practicing urologist
Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in urology
  • Ability to be licensed in the State of Illinois
  • Sensitivity to the needs of underrepresented minority populations
