We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career in the medical-surgical field and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

About the Role

This position offers a challenging and rewarding experience, providing skilled nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensuring quality care delivery.

Job Details

The estimated salary for this position is $2,008 per week, which aligns with industry standards for Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This is a 92-day assignment, working three days a week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The start date is November 4th, but we can accommodate flexibility depending on your availability.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will include:
• Providing direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Monitoring patient progress, assessing vital signs, and responding to changes in condition promptly
• Educating patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations
• Ensuring accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Current RN license
• BLS certification (other certifications may be required by the facility)
• Two years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
