About the Role

As a Residential Mental Health Worker at SCO Family of Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of adolescents in our care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in the admission process for new residents and maintain awareness of their needs.
  • Refer residents to team members as necessary to meet their needs.
  • Ensure each adolescent attends scheduled appointments, including psychological, psychiatric, educational, and medical sessions.
  • Provide immediate intervention using therapeutic crisis techniques to de-escalate volatile situations.
  • Contribute to the development of treatment plans through written reports and team discussions.
  • Carry out treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Organize recreational activities to promote positive leisure experiences.
  • Maintain the daily cleanliness of living facilities.
  • Supervise personal hygiene routines and overall management of clothing, household supplies, and equipment.
  • Transport residents as approved Agency Authorized Driver.
Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking candidates with a High School Diploma or GED, preferably with two years of college. Acceptable clearance checks include State Central Register, Driver's license, and fingerprinting as required by the program. Compliance with PPD clearances and current certification in CPR are also mandatory.

This position requires successful completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training, which includes a written test and demonstration of competency in performing physical restraints, as specified by the program and regulatory body.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location. SCO Family of Services offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
