We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join our team at Royal Care Certified. As a Full Time Field Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and work skills of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.

You will provide exceptional Occupational Therapy services to patients by assessing and understanding care plans and creating OT Home Care treatment plans alongside physicians or by prescription.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional Occupational Therapy services to patients
  • Documenting visits and updates on patients' care and progress
  • Educating caregivers and their families on how to care for the patient
  • Making judgments on the types of care and services needed for each patient
  • Supporting the company mission by providing the highest quality of home care

Locations include Middle Village, Ridgewood, Maspeth, Rego Park, and Forest Hills.

Qualifications include:

  • OT License and Registration to practice in New York State
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • At least 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist in home care - Medicare Part A experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Great communication skills, excellent organizational, and time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
